Worship

As followers of Christ, our single greatest calling in this life is worship. Although we are all called to ministry and mission, evangelism and discipleship, all of these point to one great and ultimate purpose: awakening devotion and affection to our Creator. Worshipping through music is one avenue to engage this very purpose. I believe God has gifted me in music and has given me a heart and passion for creative worship. I have devoted my life to loving His word, abiding in His Spirit, and leading others to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ, that we may be built up into a pure sanctuary for our God to dwell. By His grace and empowering, I pursue the gifting of music, that it may be an avenue of personal and corporate worship; a sounding of creative offerings and beautiful freedom in praise to Jesus.

“Strong affections for God, rooted in and shaped by the truth of Scripture – this is the bone and marrow of biblical worship.” - John piper

“Worship is the submission of all our nature to God. It is the quickening of conscience by His holiness; the nourishment of mind with His truth; the purifying of imagination by His beauty; the opening of the heart to His love; the surrender of will to His purpose and all this gathered up in adoration; the most selfless emotion of which our nature is capable and therefore the chief remedy for that self-centeredness which is our original sin and source of all actual sin.” -William Temple

Composing & Arranging

Composing & Arranging

I have studied cello and guitar for the past 18 years, and began my journey of composing and arranging 13 years ago. I continued my studies in 2008 when I decided to pursue a degree in Music and Composition at Gordon College. I then continued that degree at Clayton State University, and ultimately finished at Liberty University. I have been fortunate enough to study under world-renowned mentors and teachers. My current work includes compositions for artists, weddings, and films. My strengths are full symphonic orchestrations (modern and classical styles), indie rock, folk, and acoustic style writing.
